Arguably the world's most influential strategic thinker and rated by Accenture as "the world's leading business intellectual", Michael Porter's views on competitive strategy have transformed the way corporations around the world compete and operate in their sectors.

His ideas on strategy are the foundation for modern strategy courses, and his work is taught at the Harvard Business School and at virtually every business school in the world. Michael Porter's current course at Harvard is a University-wide graduate course, Microeconomics of Competitiveness, which is also taught in partnership with more than 65 other universities from every continent using curriculum, video content and instructor support developed at Harvard.
